A new myserty to solve .....
I am always filled with expectation when I find a plant which I don't recognize. Today I was cleaning up the woods beyond the fence when I came across a clump of bulbs. It definitely looks promising which in my terms means that I am hoping it is a beautiful flower. I am very optimistic when it comes to my plants. I posted the pictures of the mystery plant to my gardening forums for the other gardeners to take a guess. The guess so far is Crinum lily. I don't think so. My guess is Tuberose. I planted it in the front yard and will eagerly wait to know what it turns out to be.
Can you guess what it could be?

Wrapping up the gardening season of 2014 with the last few blossoms
One of the Kaffir Lily (Schizostylis coccinea ) clumps that I bought in September is beautifully blooming in the front yard. I didn't even plant it to the ground yet.

I am more and more impressed by the Nasturtiums each day. They bloomed beautifully all summer and there are still a few more. The plants in containers looks all scraggly right now but I appreciate the bright colors. Not only are the nasturtium flowers very beautiful, but when the leaves are lush and green, they are a sight by themselves.
One dahlia and one primrose - almost same color.
The other day, Rishi said that there was a tennis ball in the yard when he looked out of the backyard door. Turns out the wind had toppled the dahlia in container. Pretty color. I hope it blooms more profusely when I put it in the ground next year. This year it remained in the pot I had brought it in from the garage sale.

Garden 2013
March 2nd
Planted brocolli seeds in the backyard after putting fresh mulch. After that there was heavy rain in the evening. It is very sunny today though - weird weather.
Also, replanted the white geranium which I had over wintered from last year. It had quite a few leaves and was doing well. Hope it continues to grow well. I had taken a small cutting from this plant too.
March 3rd : Spring has sprung in my garden beautifully The Daffodils
